ELDA’s community support services are centred on creating spaces where elders feel welcomed, respected, heard, uplifted and genuinely connected. We build intentional communities that reduce isolation and encourage meaningful relationships, ensuring individuals feel supported beyond their immediate environment. Through regular engagement, shared experiences, and gentle social support, we help elders maintain a sense of belonging and purpose. Our approach recognises the value of listening, presence, and consistency, allowing people to feel seen and heard at every stage of life. Community support at ELDA is not about doing things for people, but doing things with them, encouraging participation, confidence, and connection within safe and inclusive settings.
